We were briefed to create a premium paint offer for Dulux that would compete with other ‘lifestyle’ brands in the paint category. The new range needed to appeal to creative females whilst being suitably differentiated from the core Dulux paints.
The ‘Made by Me’ name was a clear winner in research with consumers finding it appealing and inspiring. The pack design built on this further, showcasing a whole range of project ideas. Point of sale and a project leaflet packed with inspirational ideas encouraged people to do a simple project of their own.
